Shooting range – what weapon is best for beginners?
The first moments in any place are always difficult. A new job is associated with new challenges, the need to meet strangers and adapt to the rules prevailing in the new space. It’s no different with a new hobby. In order to fulfill your passion and develop your interest, you need to invest in yourself, equip yourself properly and meet people who have more knowledge and can offer support and help. One of the more and more popular hobbies is shooting. Although it seems to be primarily a male sport, women also willingly go to shooting ranges and learn how to use shotguns or pistols. However, in order to take the first steps in the shooting world, you must choose the right weapon that will not discourage a beginner.

What weapons are best for beginners?
It is obvious that the first visits to the shooting range cannot be immediately associated with the purchase of your own gun. First, you must obtain a permit and learn how to use the shooting equipment. However, the choice of weapons directly at the shooting range also matters. After all, some of the possible ones are more difficult to master than others and trying to use them at the beginning may discourage a novice shooter. For this reason, it is worth getting acquainted with the opinions of more experienced people who can advise which weapon will be the best to start with. In our opinion, it is easier to fire long guns / carbines. However, most often during the first visits to the shooting range, a pistol is recommended. It is equally suitable for both women and men. It is also important that it is easy to get used to it – the appearance of this type of weapon is well known from film productions or books, so it does not arouse such fear or stress. The gun is also recommended for beginners due to technical conditions. Basically, the pistols are small, do not require any special skills, and the .22Lr rimfire pistols do not have a particularly high recoil force.

Is it worth buying your own gun at the beginning of your shooting adventure?
Every novice shooter who wants to develop in his passion will face a dilemma – is it worth buying your own gun? It turns out that yes. It is clear that using your own equipment is associated with considerable psychological comfort. The fear of damaging other people’s devices disappears. What’s more, having your own weapon gives you the opportunity to feel it better and thus increase accuracy. It works similarly to driving a car – it is more convenient to drive your own car that you know well than someone else’s, in which you are driving for the first time. It is obvious that a person who has just obtained a firearms license is not yet a master shooter and may be afraid that buying his own pistol or revolver is too big an investment to start with. However, it is worth considering this solution and getting acquainted with, for example, the offer of used weapons, which are cheaper, but can still serve the owner well.
